Following years of R&D and finally manufacture we are pleased to announce the availability of Riggen HO remanufactured slot cars just as they were made in the 1970’s. To promote interest in these cars and have some fun while doing it, Riggen HO is pleased to sponsor a series of ‘Brass War’ races. These races will feature the new RiggenHO cars and will be paired with a race pitting the RiggenHO’s against the best of the Brass Era. The first such race will be held at NJ Nostalgia Hobby on Saturday June 25th, 2005. Racing will begin at 1 PM but the store will open at 10:30 to allow for practice and tuning of cars. Following the RiggenHO race there will be a ‘Brass Wars’ race pitting the best cars from the Brass Era (ca. 1970-75). Entrants will be allowed to enter Brass chassied Tyco Pros, Cobramites and Dynabrutes as well as vintage Riggen and RiggenHO cars. Rules will be posted shortly at www.geocites.com/njhobby under race rules and on www.riggenho.com.

Entry in the RiggenHO race will require the purchase of a new RiggenHO kit for $39.95. This will include all stock parts necessary to assemble a complete rolling RiggenHO chassis. Also included in the $39.95 will be a ‘racer/blem’ Hot Rod truck body which is the official race body, an official/collectible entry ticket into the race and a RiggenHO t-shirt! Kits may be purchased any time at NJ Nostalgia Hobby beginning now and up until race time. IMPORTANT: The number of entries will be limited so purchase your entry kit as soon as possible. Once the race is filled, no more kits will be sold and entries into the first race will be closed. Winners of this race will receive trophies and merchandise prizes. Additional merchandise prizes will be give away all afternoon during the race. There will be a separate prize for the best treatment of the blem/racer body. The Brass Wars race will be open to all those having a race spec car (see above and Brass War rules), entry for this race is $5.00 and ribbons and prizes will be awarded.

The track will open for racers at 12 noon and those wishing to rent time earlier may do so. We expect the races to be done by 6PM but we will remain open as needed. Thanks and Hope to see you here. Joe Corea
