began at 10:30. Out of towners get a feel for the track while
locals scout the competition.

All entrants were required to race a car they built from parts included in the
official Race Kit. Modification allowance
was generous but the car must use the Hot Rod Body, an HT-50 Can Motor, the
RiggenHO chassis and Guide Flag.

Set up styles
vary. Slip on Silicon as well as Silicon sponge on the rears. Patriot, AFX G+
and Lifelike gear sets. Various front ends were tested includinghome built independant
fronts. Key set up factors were nailing down the right shape of the wipers for
this track and body height.

standings after 6 Crash and Burn style heats, two 10 lap races in each heat...
Locals won the day (but revenge was had in the following Brass wars race!) Lap
times in the high eights...
