Volume 3
January 2009 |
I am very pleased with the direction and accomplishments to date of our efforts with RiggenHO, but I also feel we have much more to do as we expand in the direction of research and history of the era. As example, this issue's amazing and comprehensive interview with Pat Dennis; the man responsible for TycoPro (details below) when joined with contemporary stories from other manufacturer's and participants during the brass wars heydey will help provide a fuller history of this slot car era...and this is exactly what we want to accomplish---keeping an ACCURATE history available for all collectors!
With regards to our continued commercial efforts, we are developing and finalizing the specs for our new "stock" chassis, the 4000 Series, which will have the enhancements and improvements learned from our hand tuned Limited Editions. The 3000 Series chassis runs very well now---super smooth, great power with the green arm can, conssitent fit of the rear wheels and tires and a solid guide flag. A few simple and now proven mods will make our 4000 Series chassis a race club contender!
We will also continue to supply parts for repair and restoration. Our "Limited Edition" program has performed very well, with most editions selling out very quickly! We hope to offer 3 or 4 Limited Editions each year, and each with something new to bring to the hobby.
I must note that without the efforts of guys like Terry Flynn and Rich Picard we might have been just another "phase" in the history of the hobby...Thanks very much for all your support, as well as as the loyal support from all of our customers and friends!

Thanks
for your support! I wish you all a Happy and Healthy New Year in these most
interesting times!!!!
